Many thanks to the owners firstly for the delicious food and lovely Hobsons ale we enjoyed there in the evening, but secondly also, for being a really helpful port during storm Babette. Helping us to find an unblocked way out of the hills by using the Picklescott FB page is definitely above and beyond. Very much appreciated. Won't hesitate to call in again during better weather!

Had a lovely couple of drinks here on a Sunday afternoon. Lovely pub with very friendly locals. Will definitely return.

Stayed at a cottage nearby and dined here twice. Staff very friendly and accommodating with my gluten free requests. Food was very good.

Lovely pub in a quaint village. The food was very exceptional ! My gripe is, when I stood at the bar (yes I'm here) the locals get served first ! I found that very rude.

Difficult roads to encounter to get to this place but well worth it. Great food, lovely staff. Will be back.

Absolutely fabulous charming characterful pub and such a lovely welcoming young couple who own and run it - delicious tasty food! Home cooked specials for vegetarians! Perfectly cooked steaks! And last night a big group of us went and had their Xmas menu … the huge piece of salmon was absolutely amazing and my nut roast was delicious! Brilliant pub 👍
