The lamb doner meat here is the best anywhere in the Forest of Dean and I know as I’ve tried them all and the prices are also very competitive. Top marks.

Absolutely amazing! We ordered very close to closing time yet the still cooked our order for us, which from experience i know is very infuriating so I'm very grateful. Food was absolutely amazing and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely be using again!
We stayed in cinderford end of September and decided to get a take away on the first night. Everything was great, taste, cost and portion size. It was cheaper than here down in Devon and the size wow biggest portions we have ever had. We ended up having the left over chips the next day for lunch. Glad we picked your take away.
I stayed in nearby Steam Mills this weekend with 5 friends and not knowing the area we struggled to find somewhere to deliver but luckily passed the Jolly Forest Fryer on our walk back from the pub. We ordered a couple of pizzas, fish and chips, and some chicken kebabs and were incredibly impressed by the cost, the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If we are ever in the area again we would make a point to visit the Jolly Forest Fryer.
*****Amazing meal deals. You do get you're money's worth, friendly jolly people to speak to really polite. There food is amazing I haven't had no problems with it what so ever. Must try there kebabs/chicken absolutely tender full of taste. Always delivers on time and food is hot never had a problem with my order being wrong. So this is why I give them 5stars and advice people to try there food you won't be disappointed :) *****
I've only ever had a good and convenient experience from ordering online despite what the other review said.
Some quality food and prices are very fair, it can be a little greasy but it's a chippy so to be expected.
Staff are always welcoming and polite.

2 x large cod, 2 x large chips, 2 portion scampi, 1 veg Korma, pilau rice, curry sauce, fed 6 of us for under £30. Would definitely return if we're staying nearby again!
Chicken Jalfrezi was absolutely beautiful! My partner had the garlic pizza bread and said it was the best around. Really fast delivery and food was piping hot. Will definitely order again 😋
