My Big Fat Greek Taverna

3 of us, we all enjoyed our food, it was lovely, all delicious Kleftiko, dolmades, garlic King prawns, dips and warm pitta, Chicken souvlaki, couldn't fault anything, good portions and value for money. Service was great, had a great evening dining here. Just 1 thing is the price of the drinks were alittle over the top.

Bottomĺess cocktails. Birthday/Anniversary party. Staff lovely. Amazing service. Manager helpful, obliging, actually the best Been before and definitely will go again. My favourite place in Clacton. Thank you for making our day special and even allowing our anniversary couple to do plate smashing dance. You exceeded as always and the cocktails were definitely bottomless. There were some greedy ones in our party 🥳 🤣

My family and I come down for the Clacton airshow every year and always have dinner here on the Thursday. We booked this year as it is so popular and to guarantee that we got a table as last year we hadn't booked but the owner was good enough to fit us in. The food is very tasty and filling. This year we even had cocktails. The kiddies menu is good value for money and my 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed her main, side and free ice-cream. My son and I both had kleftiko which is very tasty and succulent and we highly recommend this. My daughter had the moussaka and really enjoyed thst too. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great food. My daughter and I turned up off the cuff and it was excellent. She had squid to start followed by the meatballs. I had the sausage starter and the mixed kebab main. We ordered a Greek salad between us and could barely move at the end. Not a bite left and the portions were good. Service was prompt and polite. Highly recommended

Cocktail making class for my Hen party! In August 2022 I had the most amazing evening at a cocktail making class for my Hen party with 2 lovely hosts. We made multiple cocktails, the class was fun and simple and the snacks were delicious. It was the most entertaining time and every one of my friends enjoyed it. We had private hire of the function room and my Mum had provided decorations which the staff set up beautifully. Thank you so so much! Can't wait to come back again. I also love the food here and have eaten in the restaurant many times

We chose this place inspired by other people's good reviews and can not agree more!! The place is very well mantained, clean and welcoming. Food is good quality, we had the octopus and it was perfectly cooked! Most important, the service was amazing, they were very kind and nice, especially to mention Ellie. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work! 👏👏👏
