Just found our new Chinese takeaway . Chicken curry full of real melt in your mouth chicken and not bulked out with onions. Singapore fried rice full of tasty ingredients. Very good size portions and in foil cartons so food still hot after the 15 minute drive home.see you again Canton.
We’ve been going here for a few years now and the food is always really nice, never had a bad meal.

This chinese takeaway has been on Middlethorpe rd for more years than I care to remember.
As a child, it was the only one my family would use.
Happily I am back living in the area, so when I do get a takeaway, I only use the Canton.
To my knowledge, it is owned by the same family as when I was little.
The food therefore is still as good, because the recipes have been passed down through the generations.
On a Tuesday & Thursday, the Canton offer a "specials deal" of 4 dishes for £13. Which is great value for money. They do not scrimp on the portion sizes fir the specials either, unlike some other takeaways. The dishes within the offer remain the same as with a normally priced dish.
Had beef curry fried rice the meat was very tender the rice was spot on
The only bad part was the chips. There was quite a few hard chip ends which is a shame as I would of gave 5 stars if it wasn't for the chips
The best Chinese takeaway in the area by far! - we had beef and chicken dishes, that were superb, can see they cook with quality ingredients as the beef and chicken were meltingly tender and plenty of it too - compliments to the chefs behind the scenes!
Absolutely beautiful food they adapted my pancake roll to what I wanted inside definitely ordering from here again.
Just had our first Chinese in years from Canton, it was absolutely delicious, plenty of food and delivered quickly and very hot, we'll be back, thanks so much.
