in 1999-2000 I went to this pub alot with my aupair friends. yesterday I went back here and the food is delicious and the service is also amazing. I even got to take a picture of the owner!
Had a little issue whereby my bitter top had no sweetness at all, raised with waitress who corrected and was a little better, next pint same issue. Something definitely was wrong and almost tasted like it had soda rather than lemonade. …

Nice pub food, more seafood dishes than other pubs. Had the scallop starter and fish pie. Both were great, would prefer the scallops without the roes but that’s my personal preference
