Had fish and chips with a little salad on the side. All very fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. The owner very kindly got some water for our dog too. A perfect last day of our little holiday�Thanks guys�

We visit fish and chips shops all over Essex and Kent whenever we can over our free weekends We visited Mac's Plaice on 1st January 2023 and have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the huge cod and chips we ordered to eat in. It was served with a large fresh salad, the fish was big and cooked perfectly. The chips were very nice as well. Special mention to Jordan who looked after us during our visit. We will definitely be visiting again very soon!

Stopped here on a bit of a whim and so glad we did. The staff were so lovely and attentive, they really went the extra mile. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. We couldn't fault it.

Meg got F&C for us here on two occasions. The portion sizes are amazing. Both Fish and Chips are beautifully presented and taste good. If I could personally seek an improvement it would be to not have the batter so well cooked or cooked in such warm oil.

Superb chippy. The picture shows a medium cod, which was practically falling off the plate it was so big. Perfectly cooked as were the chips. Lovely little appetiser thrown in too.

Found Mac's by chance on an evening drive out. Brilliant place friendly staff nice and clean and comfortable to eat in as we did. The fish and chips were the best we've had for a few years, will definitely go back when we're in Essex again.
