The Prettygate Public House

Hidden gem of a pub, well worth a visit. Homemade/handmade burgers and sliders with a great selection of sides. All the usual drinks on offer with a regular selection of guest ales. Beer is well kept and reasonably priced. Very community minded with regular events and the pub makes space available for local groups before usual opening hours if needed. Absolutely drop in if you live locally, this pub deserves our support.

Charming local pub that really leans into looking traditional, which is rare these days and lovely to see and gives you plenty to look at. Have visited for a local board games group on a Wednesday as well as a couple of their events and had a nice time every visit. Have tried the bar food which was lovely. Their outside seating is excellent in the summer and they do a lovely Christmas display. No pub is perfect and everyone's experience can be different on the visit, but The Prettygate does its version well and is well worth a visit.

Really lovely pub. We just recently moved into a house nearby and this is our local. Been here about 5 times now. Staff are really friendly and polite. Outdoor seating is plentyful. We always get strongbow dark fruits but they have good beers too. Never had their food but seen hot pastries and they do serve Sunday lunch
