COD is good but sadly, we have witnessed again and again, the staff and even the manager the whole lot only pick on him and racist bully and harass the Asian driver. Making fun of him and laughing so loud again and again right in front of the customers. They even let their brothers and sisters from the same third world countries who have just arrived to work in the UK this year jump the queue, simply with the no first come first serve policy!! 1x iLLegal is £5k, so how many are there??

Firstly fish and chips that is open on a Sunday gets 5 stars, service is friendly and fast battered sausage and chips was delicious not greasy but all golden and well cooked 5* all round

I had just arrived in Colchester - I was tired and hungry and it was getting late. I found Oh My Cod and was treated with great warmth and courtesy. The fish that I ordered was cooked to perfection and well presented with tartare sauce on the side. I sat on the bus stop seat outside the shop and devoured my meal. All was well with the world - for a while at least.

We visited for the first time on the way back to Mersea. All the food was great. The chips were crisp and perfectly fried, The portions were generous, my battered sausage was lovely. The freshly fried medium haddock was huge and tasted how haddock should. The service was prompt and helpful. Highly recommended.

I'm not a regular, but this place has been my go to whenever I need a pick me up or hangover cure.
Special shout out to the guy who always tosses the chips thoroughly in salt and vinegar and securely wraps them up. The cod and haddock are my fav.
I wouldn't bother with ordering it on delivery - it's usually a 10-15 min wait inside for food which is fine for me.

Sorry to do this I love your fish and chips and I did phone but no answer but you need to look a deliveroo when being charged more for fish and £6.00 pound for small chips I did not look when I was ordering 12 .00 for two small chips and Extra £3.00 for med fish
