City Sports Grille

Stopped by during a trip to Colchester. The place was open till late. We tried 2-3 items on the menu. The food was good. The staff was courteous too. The place was neat and Covid protocols were maintained. Plenty of parking space available. There were some games available including a bowling arena I believe. Since it was almost closing time, a couple of the staff seemed a little impatient but that can be overlooked since we know everyone must be tired after a long day and just wants to get home.

We were in and out of the restaurant on Friday night both before and after bowling with a large group. Our server (didn’t catch her name unfortunately) was very accommodating and was able to get us drinks and allowed us to order food and then food was delivered in the bowling alley. Food came out quick and was great! The service they provided in the bowling alley was also great! Our server even did separate checks for multiple couples. Another woman (I assume was the manager, again unfortunately didn’t catch her name) even allowed us to hit a piñata upstairs later in the night for my husband’s birthday. Thank you! We had a blast!

The food was overpriced and didn't taste good. Bland and tasted like it was left out all day. The only thing I liked from the menu was the mixed alcohol drinks. We played in the arcade and got each kid $50 on a gaming card. Usually that would last us an hour or two at other Arcades, it lasted a half hour and we were out of money every game was expensive. These are games we play at other facilities. Good bowling ball selection.
