The best restaurant in sundays river. Open till late and a regular stop for bikers. Lekker vibe and basically next to the river. Their food is amazing and relatively well priced would definitely recommend stopping by when you are in the area.

There not many options in Colchester, Grunters is one. It seems to be local watethole especially popular when the rugby is on. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is a tried and tested local fare. They make good staeks and pizzas. The menu is quite extensive. If the weather is cold, try to get a table by the fire to warm up. In the heat of summer, there is a little terrace with a few tables outside, facing the street but space is limited.
