Stopped in here for breakfast while my car was being fixed. It's a weird place, the building and decoration is really warm and inviting, we ate on the second floor, big windows and chunky wood furniture, but it's really tired, stains on all the carpets, marks on the walls and sticky tables, but in a way it kind of feels more homely for it.
The staff are really nice and attentive and provided excellent service.
The food is where this place really shines! The breakfasts were incredible! Super generous and well priced, fantastic quality and we had nearly a whole loaf of good quality bread on the side.
I'd definitely recommend giving it a punt.
First morning of holiday and ventured out for breakfast.
Highly recommended, staff welcoming with great service.
Food was great quality and fresh made/cooked to order.
Had lunch here after a lovely walk at Horstead. It is really important to book a table as it is a very popular cafe/restaurant. Parking can also be a problem for the same reason.
Seating is a few tables on the ground floor with more upstairs.
Menu is very varied with lots to choose from and specials of the day. It's good value and the panini's we had were very tasty and served with salad and coleslaw. There is also a large selection of cakes and scones if you just want a snack. We also had a large pot of tea to which they kindly added an extra bag!
Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
