Food 100% Excellent and allergen support was exemplary. Made me feel more welcome than i have ever felt. More places need to take tips for allergen handling from this place. Mother in law's birthday was celebrated without request with a drawing on a dessert place after just a mention of the occasion. Shows real compassion and care for their customers. Rare to see these days

Popped here for a drink on Good Friday. Lovely location with seating along the waterfront. Staff friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat but the food smelt delicious

Went for a surprise birthday meal with friends. Service was good, food was lovely and really good portion sizes. Would recommend.

One of our favourite places to eat out, today was a special occasion for our granddaughter’s 12th birthday.
Emailed previous to the dinner to let them know, as they prepare a special plate if you order desert.
They did not disappoint, the mains were delicious and the deserts were amazing!
All the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for making it so special ❤️
A lovely setting right by the river.

Review is for Sunday Lunch which was lovely. Perfectly cooked roast beef with all the usual veg etc. Coffee crème brûlée also very good. The restaurant is very busy but the service was good. Reservation is definitely required on a Sunday.

I was surprised by the quality of the food - really enjoyed my pizza. It has a very family friendly vibe and my dog was welcome inside. Fantastic location by the river that I'm sure is lovely in the summer

Great location. Very cleN and comfortable room. We enjoyed a good evening meal and there is a really varied menu to choose from. Breakfast was delicious and a generous size. All the staff are good too. Thank you Sheila for the warm welcome and excellent service.

Went for a work Christmas lunch. Huge portions of good quality. I was late arriving but they had boxed up my pre-ordered starter for me, which was nice. Car park can get very busy. Excellent service and pleasant ambience.

We came here for our works Xmas meal, and it did not disappointing. The food was excellent. Staff went above and beyond for someone in our party with allergies and nothing was too much effort. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable despite being really busy. Service was quick too which was surprising as it was packed! Only thing we had issues with was the parking, bit other wise highly recommend the rising sun.
