If your on a diet portion sizes are good. But if your not no good, good job we did our own rice.

Absolutely Delicious! My husband and I are from the USA and we’re staying nearby two nights, and after stopping in our first night, my husband recommended we go again the next night.
We got the Chicken Tikka Malaya (I cant remember spelling but it was a creamy sauce with banana and pineapple). It was very sweet and not what I expected, but loved it. Additionally we ordered the Chicken Tikka Dahnsak (again, not right spelling, but it was considered a spicy dish with pineapple). It was not too spicy for us, in fact it was perfect for my delicate taste palette.
Rice was excellent and the naan was great dipped in the curries.
Great service as well although we did takeout.

The best in the area by far. Not overpriced and the staff are very helpful. I recommend the house specials, the lamb jalfrezi and the tandoori mixed grill.

This is our go-to Indian restaurant/take-away in Consett.
Service is always friendly and welcoming. The owners take the time to get to know their regulars. Food is always ready to collect when they say it will be.
Perfect for a meal out too. It's very reasonably priced. The restaurant is comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Plus, everything feels very authentic!
