It's obvious this is a family outfit, dad, son and mates. All friendly and really on it for the task at hand, they all seemed to know what they were doing and focused on serving. I got a regular haddock which was huge so not sure how big a large would be. The fish was lovely cooked to perfection, chips nice too. Everything was still pipping hot when we got in 5 mins away. Best fish and chips in the area.

Wish I lived closer, stopped in whilst in the area on business, food was done fresh, the smash burger was brilliant, huge portions for the price and to top it off, friendly chatty staff behind the counter that enjoy their job, absolute belter of a place, looking forward to calling in again in future

Absolutley Beautiful. Me and my mate are working up here for a few weeks and had this chippy nearly every day.
The portion sizes are worth the value. All the food is cooked fresh! The homemade sauces are beautiful. And to top it off the staff are absolutley amazing. Thanks for the beautiful food!

Always amazing food. Good value. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended. Photo of a sharing box of Parmos (comes with chips and salad and feeds four very hungry people easily for just £20).

I pop in occasionally when I’m visiting my father in the village. The chippy has had a chequered history but the current owners have the winning formula, combining good food and friendly customer service. I’ve noticed how the team go the extra mile, either by flexing the menu to meet customers’s needs or by making them feel welcome with friendly chat.

I have recently moved from Essex to the area and what a great fish and chips shop to have as your local! I have visited twice now and both times the food has been freshly cooked and delicious! I look forward to my next visit.

Lovely fish and chips (& gravy). Have the choice of haddock or cod and we ate outside on picnic benches there.
