Wow! What a fantastic place Rui and Michelle have here. We were the first guests of the evening at 5-30pm on a Saturday and Michelle and Rui were the perfect hosts. As someone else has put on their review - it was like having dinner at your best friends house - Michelle fully explained the menu and the food that we ordered was fantastic, we had the Lamb Alcatra, Rui’s Pica-Pau and the Seafood Rice between 2 of us....There was enough food to feed 4 and the tastes and textures I cannot commend highly enough. For dessert we had a Chocolate and Caramel Shortbread and a Chocolate mousse, both homemade and moorish. The Portuguese house wine was very reasonably priced at £7 for a small jug which gave you 3 very large glasses full... and was of decent quality. Rui also gave us complimentary glass of Port to ‘wash down the meal’... The restaurant seating arrangement is very quirky and is one on its own. I can not recommend this place highly enough if you are in the area and want delicious homemade Portuguese/Welsh food.
