My friend and I arrived 2:30pm just as they had finished serving food ... the cook kindly made us a delicious main course and dessert. Couldn't be more grateful too the friendly welcoming staff there .. Thank you x

Popped in for dinner and glad we did as everything was excellent. We had one turkey dinner and one massive fish & chips, a glass of wine and a pint of cider.
All excellent and great value for money.

Lovely Sunday Lunch here and so much food for the money! Had the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding which was really tasty but I could only manage half of it despite trying my best to finish! We sat inside which was comfortable and had music playing with sports on the TV (muted) as we were keeping out of the sun, outside seating was busy though and there was even a visitor with a horse there when we got in. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Service was quick and toilets were clean. Would be happy to go back.

We had a wonderful meal here, the staff were friendly and welcoming. They obviously have a good bunch of regulars who make for a great atmosphere. Well priced food too.

Went into the Horse and Jockey early Thursday evening meals start at 1700. We both had Gammon egg and chips, extra onion rings, all cooked well tasted lovely. Thought the chips were little frozen ones instead of homemade as advertised, but they were cooked well and very nice. Deserts were OK but we thought a bit expensive for portion size. very nice, though. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
