Good food but one experience ruined everything
Went out on a rainy night for fish and chips ad at some point I dropped my key. Get there and find that they are closed due to “a technical fault”. Get home and realise I dropped my key. Go back and retrace my steps but never find it. 40 minutes of walking in the rain and a lost key for nothing. I realise my lost key is not their fault but I’m very frustrated and need to vent.

Their customer service is absolutely fantastic! They always seem to go the extra mile for every single one of their customers, offering food to be cooked/served specifically to a persons requirements. Their food is always fresh and delicious too. This must be the best Chip shop in Coventry. They always have a small but manageable queue, but for good reason. The food. Its absolutely delicious with a lot of Variety. The new management took over 3 months a go and are always friendly as well. You also get 10% NHS discount which is a nice bonus.

The quality of the fish and chips excellent as usual.
BUT, you need to sort out the service for people queuing at the door.
It appears that the Just eat delivery guys have preference. I personally qued for 40 minutes on Friday evening to get served.

Best chippy I have ever had in Coventry! The food arrives fresh and not soggy and it's packaged very neatly in boxes with greaseproof paper lining. I will make this my go-to chippy from now on. Very pleased.

Love this chippy the portions are huge and fish is to die for always large white fluffy fresh fish. The kebabs are giant size too with fresh salad (not wet & soggy).
Honestly the place can't be faulted staff are polite friendly chippy is very clean 5* all round 😉😊

Mini fish is half a Cod, not a cheaper 'white fish' as some places do! Haddock is beautiful but they don't cook it unless you ask for it. Batter is one of the best I have tasted (I'm 54) but don't let them put it in a plastic bag or it goes soggy!!

Used to go here all the time last year!
Massive portion sizes and really good value for money. Kebabs are great, chips are great, fish is pretty good.
Would highly recommend this place for comfort food!
