The Tollgate Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery

Megan our waitress and matt were friendly, helpful and went put there way to make sure my little 9month had some food as he has a milk allergy. Matt asked the chef to prepare cauliflower with no sauce for little man to eat. Megan went through all the carvary items with milk in so I know what he could and couldn't eat. Chef called me over when my food was done, so I could have mine with my hubby who was having the carvey . Well recommend and defo come back. Lovely evening celebrating our 4th anniversary, specially with little man by our sides to celebrate too.

After hiring the meeting room for the first time yesterday, I can honestly say that I am blown away. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food is amazing! There is a really nice warm welcome as soon as you walk in. We will defiantly be booking here again. My only regret is that we haven't been here before! fantastic work by all the staff!

My wife and I have lunch at The Tollgate fairly frequently. The carvery is excellent, one of the best that we have ever been to. A good range of vegetables are kept hot (but not dried-out) and the joints of meat are beautifully-cooked and (for the cost of the meal) generously carved (thanks Matthew!). The staff are friendly and couldn't be more helpful. All-in-all a most enjoyable experience - which is, I suppose, why we keep going back!

First time here. I am staying down the road and thought I'd come here as the menu where I am isn't great. Food was good for the money. I walked past the carvery as they were closing it down, and that looked decent. And Matt who served me, was a nice, friendly, and diligent chap. The lady at the bar was also very friendly. I'd have no issue returning here when I'm next back in the area.
