Toby Carvery

The portion sizes were huge, I've never been to a carvery and almost felt like there was too much meat, but in a good way! It was tender, with some crispy fatty bits which are the best. There was a huge variety of veg, more than usual, so it looks like on the days when the carvery costs more, there's more variety too. Anyway, I'm not sure there's much to improve on, to be honest. It's really great value, great quality. Lovely setting. Sometimes drinks/ desserts can take a little while but it's not really a big deal. And a bit tricky to get bookings at the right time. Somehow the Binley Toby's is waaaay better than Stonebridge. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I went with my boyfriend and parents, the food was fantastic and the attention to service was brillant. We were asked for any food allergens and I have a few. The staff and manager checked and gave me a fresh cauliflower cheese, as the prepared one has Paprika dusting, which is one of my allergens. All the staff were friendly and smiling. Only thing I would change is little thicker slices for the meat. That one thing aside we will be returning for more meals.

The service was great and Charlotte our waitress was excellent, very polite and very helpful. She is a credit to you. The only issue with the carvery were the roast potatoes again, possibly the potatoes that are being used. The last two times we have been everything else has been perfect but roast potatoes have not been, which is a great shame as previously they have been excellent. I hope you will be able to get this issue sorted. But as I have said everything else was perfect and very tasty as always.

Although it was extremely busy we were seated very quickly and drinks ordered. We then joined the queue. We were served quite quickly. The selection of meats and vegetables was of high standard. My hubby had Pork and Turkey and I had turkey. Generous portions and delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Not sure why this Toby is rated 3.8 out of 5. Came here on Wednesday Lunch time and the food was fantastic. Will go as far to say it's the best food I've ever had at a Toby carvery. Fantastic selection of veggies which I've never seen at any other Toby. Very happy customer. Always handy when traveling home from being up north.

I’m not a fan of carvery in general but the quality is what you would expect of a reputable chain. Huge Yorkshire pudding as standard and you can help yourself to extra miniatures. Meat portion on the small side, but that’s fine for me as I’m not a massive roast meat fan. Cask beer on tap was Pedigree and was in excellent condition. Staff really friendly and proactive.

Beginning to make this a tradition on the way back from a festival by visiting this Toby carvery. If you're familiar with the Toby set up then all good but for me it was a new experience. The vegetarian gravy was much better than the normal gravy. Mashed potatoes are powdered and all other food was great. Did not try the dessert menu. Couldn't complain in and out within the hour.
