Pizza Hut Delivery

The building looks a bit grim on the outside. Does not create a good impression. 4 hygiene rating is fine but seems low for an international chain. Would expect 5. Staff had masks on but the counter area would benefit from keeping the door open. Pizza ovens normally heat places well so they would not be cold. Staff at counter was friendly.

Ordered via web. Order was available for puckup within 15 minutes (20 was shown in the mail). Staff was hard to understand but friendly. Pizza was almost done right; we ordered half half but got 5/8 and 3/8. But I cannot understand all those purely negative comments. There seems to be a major difference between the pickup or delivery quality.

Pizza Hut love to make up for their mistakes. I've had 2 incidents with them, 1 for overpaying and the other for a late pizza. When we accidentally overpaid (our own fault), I was offered a free order of anything I wanted while I waited for the area manager to arrive and give us a full refund (for the pizza we had already ate and enjoyed), plus discount off our next order. The time when the pizza was late (I didn't even care, or notice for that matter), I was emailed a sincere apology and a £10 voucher which is usable with any other offers on top. They really do make up for everything, and then some. So I'm kind of glad when things go a bit wrong with Pizza Hut, because they shower you with kindness afterwards!
