We visited while on a scout walk where we voted for the best local chippy . With the wonderful customer service and taste , texture and price Ali's chippy ranked so high and we all loved it so much. We're definitely coming back! We were so nervous to order but they were so welcoming and happy , and were given 4 free fish cakes . Made our day

Unfortunately the fish was not freshly cooked. It had been sat in warmer a while so was a little dry.

We were served quickly, only had chips and scallops but really enjoyed them. The scallops had amazing crispy batter and were really big, the best I have had in this area. I would recommend going in and collecting so you get everything as crispy as possible. A large portion of chips fed 3 of us with good sized portions. There was on street parking available nearby.

Good food and very, very friendly and polite staff. The chips are hot, the salad is fresh and the chicken kebab was good. The battered fish was crispy and tasty and the place looks spotlessly clean with extremely friendly and polite staff.

Great chicken tikka and chips, fast delivery, order always correct, good quantities. I only wish they delivered more pies. Best chippy.

First visit and I was very impressed and I don’t impress easily.Spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly.Chips are superb and probably the best chip shop chips I’ve ever had.Highly recommend this chip shop.Hence my 5 star review
