The Auction House is a lovely public house, plenty of atmosphere and beautifully laid out inside. Outside there is a large garden with seats and tables. You pay for parking your car, but get the money back when you buy your drinks in the pub. Currently work is going on in the kitchen so food is not available just yet, but tell you what, the place will be lovely for eats when all is up and running. Anyway, give it a try.

Great pub always warm inside and friendly staff. Seems to be better since the new owners took over. Friendly bar maid the lad always seems like he’s had a bad day but properly works long hours. Beer prices are good and there doubles are even better lol. See you soon all

First time in The Auction House, my partner and I had different meals, but they both came out at the same time, both piping hot. Nice friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be coming here again for definite. Kids menu too, soo ideal for families too.

Id probably give it 5 stars if I hung around for more than 1 pint. It's a pretty big place, nice beer garden outside. They have food, I haven't tried it. Was completely empty when I went but I'm told it gets busy. Locals seem alright.
If I'm completely honest, compared to my normal haunts, this place did feel like it was in the middle of nowhere HOWEVER I started a job nearby and when I needed the toilet it was the only thing around. Any port in a storm kind of thing.
It is a nice place, even if it's far from civilisation (20/30 minute walk). It's got football, drink and food. So yeah I would recommend it. Next time I pop by I'll check the selection of whiskeys and update the review accordingly. Overall it's positive

Excellent food, really friendly and helpful staff. Nice sized beer garden. Reasonable prices. Comfortable seating through out. Ample parking. We as a family like to visit this Public house. All round good place to eat and drink.

Lovely decor interior, comfortable surroundings to enjoy a well kept pint of real ale (other drinks are available :)). Great food!... Home cooked from scratch, very tasty and reasonably priced. Nice big garden with a covered area too.
