Just dropped in for a quick lunch. I asked for something that was not on the menu, and the waiter immediately spoke to the chef and improvised a dish. Definitely will visit again. 😊

Always a positive experience at Xiong QI. Food is good, price is very reasonable, regular treat for when we are hosting friends and family.

This is the most authentic Chengdu flavour I could ever get in the UK honestly. The wonderful spicy and salty and fragrant taste immediately sent me back to my hometown. My husband also loves it very much. The many years I stayed in the Warwickshire, my Chengdu stomach was saved by their hotpot otherwise I’d be so depressed. The food is fresh too only perhaps the portion is a little small for the price we pay. But anyhow it’s just wonderful. Do order their Sichuan wide noodles for the main and deep fried pork as a snack. Beef trips and duck blood and the frozen tofu are all very good.

As far chinese hot pot goes, I’d say that this is a decent place and would come back for sure. The staff are nice and accomodating. Would recommend!

An authentic restaurant with many dishes very strong in flavour and spicy so ask for less spicy if you can’t handle it so would of given five stars if not for that. It seems it is linked to the restaurant next door. A nice place. Remember it’s cash only.

Superb hot pot with a wide range of choices and decent prices. If you're good with your choices you can get good dinner within £20 per person, which is good for a hot pot restaurant.
The food is lovely, the staff are always polite and happy to explain any dishes you may be unfamiliar with. Strong recommendation!
