The Bryn Owain

Went to the Bryn Owain today for lunch. First glance on entering, it looked really nice but was very cold inside, could of done with some heating on as the weather was horrific, we found a table by a radiator that we turned on so was OK. I found the area we were in wasn't very clean, the radiator was filthy and the salt and condiments on the table were dirty with old food etc. Me and my wife both had fish and chips the signature and I must say the meal was very nice so we cannot complain there 4 stars was solely for cleanliness the food we couldn't fault what so ever. The service from the staff was also very good and welcoming. Nothing was a problem and they waited on the tables saves a trip to the bar etc.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Very accomodating to groups and couples. Partner and I have been here on our own plenty of times but we've recently converted our friends to it as well. Very open with the deals they have (check out their facebook for 30% off offers) so we spent a little less than expected which is always nice. I say a little because I bought desert with the money we saved. They have low cal and healthy options, but you can always ask staff if you're stuck. I'm slowly making my way through the burgers. Partner is addicted to the Mixed Grill and Hunters chicken. Will absolutely be back here again. Also, this is a great place to have weekly meetings such as clubs, groups, organisations and the staff treat you no different for it. They are respectful to the local homeowners as well which is a plus!
