Came here for Sunday lunch. We both had the roast beef with extra potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The food was so good and cooked to perfection. Best cauliflower cheese I've had as I'm not really a fan. The young girls who served us were so attentive and polite. Couldn't fault them. Service was amazing. My partner wants to add that the ladies toilets were so well thought out with little extras in case you were caught short! Really nice touch!! Will definitely be coming back with the whole family.

First time trying Rocket & Rye and oh it was most definitely worth it. The wait staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when we were looking at the menu, explaining how it worked. The menu is what I would say is tapas, a selection of dishes to share. We chose four plates and each plate was divine! I cannot wait to come back and I have raved about your food! Highly recommend!!

I thought my experience at Rocket & Rye deserved a 5 star review. I booked in for Sunday lunch last minute. I must say how it exceeded my expectations, one of the best roasts I've had. The beef was cooked to perfection as were the roast potatoes. Great value for money given the high standard of food served. The staff were also very friendly and well mannered. Great that we were able to take our dog, we sat in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine. Will definitely be a regular from now on.

What a lovely place. There is loads of space here - the cafe is not just what you see in the window but goes down the length of the cafe and has a conservatory part on the back. Excellent small plates menu - perfect for a light lunch, and we could definitely have a full dinner here as well. A limited selection of beers and ciders as well as a good wine selection. We called in on a Friday lunchtime and it was moderately busy. Staff were very helpful, relaxed atmosphere. Food was very tasty - we had 4 of the small plates between 2 (hot cheese tart, French fries, beetroot and orange salad, roasted broccoli - gorgeous) plus a beer and a cider. That was more than enough for us (it was a warm day as well). The menu changes all the time, so you will need to see what they have available. We were told the chefs make menu adjustments daily. It will be good, whatever you have.

I've been wanting to try Rocket and Rye for a while, but the usual menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian options. So as soon as I saw they had a set veggie menu for Valentines Day I booked in, and was delighted I did. It's a cosy restaurant with three areas to sit. Inside, conservatory or outdoors in the summer. The front of house team were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The veggie menu was priced £10 cheaper than the meat, something you rarely see and was appreciated. The four courses were all well executed and presented and tasted great. They aren't the biggest servings but I was nicely full at the end. A great night and all I want now is a monthly veggie supper club, I think it would do well!

Wonderful place and magical food. Can’t find words to describe how amazing is this place. Let’s start with staff - knowledgeable, friendly, smiling and always happy to have a chat and help. If you struggle choosing a dish - they will definitely assist you ! Food - perfect. Tasty, fresh and good looking! Everything very nicely plated. Menu changes along with the seasons, so all ingredients are fresh. Venue - nice, cozy, beautifully decorated. On top of that drinks list is also amazing. Plenty wine to choose :) It’s about 90 miles for me to travel there and every time it’s definitely worth it. 5 starts ❤️ Will be back soon !

First visit here tonight! - found by chance after a google search of restaurants in the area! So glad we came across this gem! It seemed quiet when we first arrived but that does not hve any reflection on the service or food! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and the restaurant and the food is incredible! Really good balance and umami flavours in their dishes and a really varied menu! Can’t wait to return every month for a new menu! Really extensive drinks list too and nice wine selection! Would recommend!
