Called Murray’s for a last minute birthday meal for a party of 8. They were incredibly helpful in accommodating us all. Great selection of fresh seafood and a solid children’s menu. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back soon!

My wife wanted to eat here but when we got there we were at closing time. But we asked and were surprised to be welcomed in and fed. Great food and throughly recommend it. Thanks.

We’ve ordered one plate of scallop salad and the 2 course set menu for ourselves with fish soup/fried pepper squid as a starter and coley fish/smoked haddock as main. The scallops are pan-fried in a nice way but the quality of itself isn’t the best I’ve ever tried and it’s quite pricy as well. We liked both the starter and the coley fish, the haddock is a bit salty because of the cheesy topping but it’s not too bad.

Delicious lunch here today. The fish was the best we've eaten in a long time. Service was good - very friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very lovely dinner. Though it was a bit busy by the time we came -- having our orders served a little late -- the dishes were amazing. The steak and salmon was one of the best dishes served. Creme brulee was my favorite among the desserts we had. Staff were fine. Checking us everytime. And since it's a seafood menu on the island, it comes with a bit of a price. But all in all, will come back for more!

Enjoyed our dinner. Seafood was fresh. Preparation was unfussy but to the point. Fish soup was a little under salted but we were able to season it to our liking with the salt on the table. White bait was nice and plump. The crab and avocado salad was well portioned. Did not take a picture of the Smoked Haddock and the Plaice we had. They were both good. The Clotted Cream Ice Cream was good.

WOW!!! This is probably the best food I’ve had in the UK by far. Everything was so delicious. I can divide my life into two parts; before I ate the smoked haddock florentine, and after I ate the smoked haddock florentine. The server was super nice and the only “problem” I had was that the food was served too quickly. We would’ve bought another bottle of wine if given a just a bit more time between courses. The price was extremely reasonable if you consider how expensive pub food has become recently. I would definitely recommend this place and I would absolutely come here if I’m ever in Cowes again.

We went there twice during our holidays on the Isle of Wight. The food was amazing, it was very fresh and delicious. I had a half of boiled lobster and vegetables, my husband had a cod in lobster&tiger prawns sauce. All Covid rules are in place and the service was really nice.

We went for lunch and the seafood was done beautifully! Lovely specials menu to choose from. And the oysters were delicious too! Do expect the specials to be done fairly simply - boiled potatoes and vegetables, but frankly that's what you'd get in the best seafood restaurants in the Mediterranean! I saw from some other reviews about a somewhat cold service... Sure, it's not the warmest of service but certainly professional and not unfriendly.

I don't often write reviews but after 5 days eating at the current crop of "best" restaurants on the IOW it was a blessing to come here. £25 now seems the default for small fish main course. Murrays is still doing 2 courses for £27 and £7.50 for kids. It was fresh an delicious. I had salt and pepper squid and Coley in Lobster sauce. We had 2 courses each plus a pudding share with half a bottle of wine for less than a course and a glass elsewhere and frankly it was better. Less fussy and filling. I'll be back.
