Lovely food. Prices were really good too. Definitely recommend the chop sueys! Loses a star because they forgot our boiled rice! But was not disappointed as the rest of the food was really good.
every time we've had a chinese take away in cowes during the past 18 months, we've used 'Hong Kong House' because these guys beat the competition & cook & deliver consistently *very* fresh, *very* tasty, excellent food quickly (and the people taking phone orders are very polite too).
Great service, quick to deliver, and no processed chicken (unlike the other local takeaways!) Likewise to another persons recent post - haven't ordered from here for 3 years due to the quality. Quality is back, service is great, very competitive price to the 1 around the corner, say no more.
Food is really nice from here again. This is the first time I have been back here for about 3 years, as the previous owner's cooking was really bad, and all the meat just tasted like it was flame grilled, so I stopped getting food from there. These new owners have really turned it around, and it will now be my preferred Chinese take away again.
Best Chinese takeaway currently in Cowes. Loses a star because China China on the parade is my yardstick for 5 star Chinese food but sadly that's no longer there. However, as I say, Hong Kong House is the best you can do and a billion times better than the horrible sludge they serve round the corner at Golden Dragon.
Busy takeaway, ordered and waited about 10 minutes, staff very busy with on line orders, food tasty and hot, ordered too much as normal so a second sitting tomorrow after warming up in the plastic clip lid containers. Ideal.
