It looked empty, no cars no people. We nearly passed by but wait, people could be seen in the window. Ah the car park is at the rear.

Went for my birthday. We didn’t get told it was table service so we ordered at the bar. Should of been informed. Main meal delicious, lady that delivered food was lovely. Desserts were disappointing, small portions for high price.

We had a fabulous meal for 4 the food was excellent the best fish pie I have had. The meal portions were very substantial it was piping hot and deliciously home made. The staff were very very pleasant even though they were very busy. The environment/ atmosphere was just a tad lacking but it I had to recommend I would give an overall of 9.0

We used it as part of a group booking. Considering how many of us there were, the staff were very friendly, helpful and quick to get the good out to us. The food was hot, plentiful and we'll presented.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch of three courses and drinks on a weekday. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend booking in advance at weekends as it seems to be a popular place.

Had an afternoon tea, food was nice, the scones were lovely. Could really have done with more teas and coffees though, they were cold on arrival, pots of tea and coffee would have certainly made for a better afternoon tea.

First time here off the back of my brother saying was good, I was not disappointed.
Food was lovely for all 3 of us and a reasonable price (under £70 for 3 mains and 5 drinks total)
Service was great by all who were involved, polite and with a smile.
Only reason Atmosphere is only 3 as it was pretty quiet so not much to go by.
I will be back again that's for sure!

We had a very good meal ,a couple and very elderly father. The food was good - my lasagne was definitely well above average for pub lasagne, and we couldn't resist the desserts. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Pity about the traffic noise, even with the window shut.

Brilliant location. Very nice inside and out nice wide steps going up stairs. Food quality is seriously lacking prices at the lower end.rarther alot of traffic noise inside when sat close to Windows down stairs in bar area. Very slow with bringing out food as well as food was not that hot..
