Best fish and chips in Crawley , don't waste your money at the master fryer

We ordered 14 meals for collection. When we arrived the food was waiting for us, all hot and very tasty, not greasy or dry. Excellent service too.

Was quiet when I went in, handful of people in front of me.
I ordered chips and halloumi fries.
The halloumi is cooked to order so will take a few minutes. These are more halloumi slabs than traditional fries - they do taste great but I am yet to eat more than 4 (you get 6 in a portion). I only managed 4 as I was trying to eat them all to see if it was possible - i struggle usually to eat 3.
The chips have different sizing, I usually go for a small which is adequate for one person.
Staff are friendly and everything seems to run smoothly there.
They are usually pretty busy when I go but I think it was alot earlier than usual so I beat the rush (and it was a really hot day and most people don't tend to want chips when it's hot)

First time I have ordered from here. Will definitely be back again. The nicest fish and chips I've had around Crawley. Fresh, tasty, well cooked, lovely packaging. Not soggy or overcooked. Chips and cod were delicious.

Nice price for a reasonable amount of chips. What's not to like. Not overly busy on both occasions I've been there. Onion vinegar as well which was a nice little bonus. Will go again if in area (and if I actually remember their name 😁😁)

Was recommended by a local in Crawley that the food is great and the protion sizes were really generous - let's be honest most people would think it's just a chip shop, but honestly the service provided in the shop was lovely and friendly, the portion sizes were huge and the potatoes used were really tasty.
It wasn't a small order as we had 3 households all ordering together but it was spot on perfect and from ordering to leaving couldn't have been more than 10 mins.

Such lovely customer service from a bunch of lovely ladies. Very kind and helpful. My daughter got a toy from the machine which I struggled to open and one of the ladies kindly offered to open it. Amazing fish and chips, will definitely be going back. Thank you 😊

Ocean Trawler has always been my favourite go to fish & chip shop and today I came with my colleagues to pick up some lunch. They said it was by far the best fish and chips they've ever had, food was great as always and great customer service the woman on till (dark hair in bun)
