I have never ordered boxed meat before so i was wary but i took a leap of faith and i have to say the meat is amazing. It was packaged well, which was a relief cause the delivery company literally dropped it on the doorstep. And the ice packs in it were doing an excellent job of keeping the meat cold. Being organic i wasn't sure what difference in the taste would be and i have been blown away by it. I'm looking forward to ordering some more :)
Absolutely love ordering out meat from Coombe Farm. The quality and taste is so superior to any other meat we have bought. Great delivery service and enjoyed the new meat being delivered fresh and not frozen to allow us to choose what to freeze. Will continue to bulk order and use the meat throughout the month.
The Pasture for Life kefir and yogurt that we added on were delicious too.

Quality and taste of the mince meat and bacon rasher products was quite good. The DPD delivery service was a problem. The delivery kept getting postponed all day long to a later time from originally early afternoon. It was finally delivered about 9pm, and by that time the cold pack was completely warm and so was the meat which concerned me. I froze it immediately and seems to be fine after thawed an eaten. That was my first time ordering, hopefully it will not happen the next time.
Ordering was easy on their website. The food arrived on time. It was placed where I asked it to be and was well packaged so was still frozen. We ordered pork joint, lamb/mint sausages and lambs heart, which was a bit of an experiment as I hadn’t tried it before. The lamb heart was actually very nice stuffed and cooked in breadcrumbs. We haven’t had the pleasure of the pork or sausages yet. I would definitely use this company again.

Easy to use website allowing future dates of delivery to be picked, good range of products, and quality of the gammon and venison we had was superb and delicious. We will be using again for sure.

All l can say is AMAZING!!! The delivery and product worth every penny. My son loves bacon but with the nitrates and salt in shop bought bacon I had to make a switch with something. l was reticent he would like this. Being autistic I thought the switch would not fly! But nope he loves it. Please never stop making the nitrate free smoked bacon. It’s literally how this mom can get her kid to eat. We also got the sirloin steaks and they were fantastic too.

I went for breast of lamb, oxtail and pork belly.
The lamb I cooked in a tomato ‘bredie’, a South African Cape recipe; as we speak I am doing the oxtail in a traditional stew, in a Dutch oven and am, as yet, to cook the pork belly…..

Ordering and delivery very good. Chicken quality good. I found the steak disappointing. Still yet to eat the pork steaks. Trying to find an organic farm near me to be able to see what I am buying.

A good old fashioned proper bacon. No water, lots of sizzle, and a taste that will take you back. Just what I’ve been looking for. Nicely sliced & just the right thickness, not tissue thin & falling apart in the pan! Will most definitely purchase this product again. Excellent product.
