In my opinion this is the first time in at least 40 years that I can say that both chippys in Criccieth are equally superb. And that is a big compliment for Paddy's! Yes they are excellent but also consistently so and that's the real measure.
For anyone with a normal appetite the small cod and small chips is plenty, and the curry sauce is quite special!

The chips were a good portion size and tasty, My fish was lovely but a bit too much batter for my liking, i had to thin down the curry sauce with a little hot water cos it was on the thick side but apart from that the meal was good and prices OK for a seaside location 👍

A huge fish (I did order large) with perfectly cooked chips, & we gave the Irish curry sauce a try (smooth with a slightly smoky taste) delicious. In fact so good we came back here for the last meal of our holiday.

Best fish and chips we ever found. We waited three hours until it opened because they're so good. The kids said it's the best they ever had too. Worth standing in the queue for. Having travelled up and down the country this place still stands as my favourite. Second time visiting, not disappointed.

Having travelled around a lot and after many years, this still stands as the best fish and chips we ever had! In fact we intend to pass through when possible just to have it again! Owners were lovely. Honestly, the best fish and chips anywhere. Update a couple of years later: took the kids to experience the best fish and chips in the country and they scoffed it all down to our surprise and absolutely loved it! Worth standing in the queue. Still standing as the best fish and chips we alever had. Good job!!!

Fantastic Fish N Chippy. Not greasy and best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Be prepared to wait as all cooked fresh to order. We will certainly return when next in Criccieth. (off road private car park too) 😋

Used twice already and they cook the fish whilst you wait. Lovely light batter and chips the right colour and cooked perfectly. Their Irish curry is tasty and has kick and the mushy peas are perfect. I thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

After one visit, my tastebuds were in love! The food is huge, hot and delicious. Tried the Irish curry. It was such a surprise and beyond amazing. Only wish we lived near so we could be frequent visitors! We will be back as soon as we can for your warm welcome and excellent customer service.
