Went here for birthday Sunday lunch. It was lovely. However, the mashed potatoes could have been done with a little more care and attention, but besides that, I would definitely go back again.
The staff were very kind and had an amazing level of banter, which made the atmosphere all the better!
What a fantastic experience. Absolutely beautiful home cooked food, great choice of drinks, and all for a good price. One of the most welcoming and comfortable places in the local area, and has become our first choice for a pub meal. Anyone not sure if they want to try this place, don't hesitate. Worth every penny. Look forward to visiting again.
This pub is great. The staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty, the portions are huge, and the price is good as well. If you are looking for a traditional English pub that serves mostly meat, this place is the perfect choice for you.

I was told by the bar staff there was a limited menu when I ordered. They still were able to produce this amazing Mixed Grill. Everything so beautifully cooked, the hand cut chips to die for.

This must be one of the best pubs in the area for Sunday dinner 10 out of ten for food and staff.
Amazing food at good prices. Vegetarian dinner was amazing. Vegetables cooked to perfection. Nice and chill with good drink selection. Friendly staff, without being intrusive. Definitely will go again.
