Really friendly staff and they were great with my two young sons. Nothing was touch trouble and the food was great. I would really recommend this place I've been there a few times and think the portions have got bigger.
Wonderful authentic food, reasonably priced and the waiters are very attentive. I would definitely recommend Galicia to everyone!
Although I am Portuguese, I felt in home in Galicia. The staff is very nice and the food tastes heavenly. I recommend visiting the restaurant in a group so it is easier to try all the different options available. Everything that I tried was very good, but I would like to highlight the croquetas de pollo.
I will always love La Galicia....for it's food, ambience and wonderful staff. I have been a regular here for 23 years (now I feel old at saying that!) and, although I no longer live nearby, I will continue to visit whenever I am in town.
The food is top notch Spanish cuisine and over the years I have sampled the Tapas over and over, the A La Carte menu and even the Christmas menu on the occasions I've arranged our work parties there. I even had my Hen Party meal there 10 years ago and my pals had a great time!
All of the food is wonderful, but in particular, I adore the Chorizo Frito, Patatas Bravas, Berenjenas (baked aubergine) and the Calamares a la Romana. All washed down with a refreshing jug of Sangria!
The staff are fantastic, always ensuring you have what you need. Great selection of drinks at the bar too.

Had the mixed fish from here and spicy prawns. Absolutely delicious, would definitely eat here again. Staff are buzzing with energy and the authenticity is amazing, it can be quite a pain to move around as the place fills up but its easily overlooked as nobody really walks around when eating a meal anyway. If you don't like occasionally loud and high tempo places this place is not for you.
Best restaurant in Croydon, by miles.. This is a fantastic place. The staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is superb and the atmosphere is vibrant. Highly recommended by everyone I've ever been there with. Go now and enjoy.

Galicia restaurant is a typical family restaurant with Spanish Cuisine located in Croydon, South London Area.
In the restaurant you can enjoy dishes like the famous tapas. Can recommend to try the Costillas de cerdo(Spare Ribs in Barbeque Sauce), Chorizo frito( Hot Spanish Sausage Fried in Wine), Patatas bravas( Fried potatos in Spiced sauce). The prices are very convenient as well and can order a couple dishes to share!

Galicia offers up authentic tasting tapas and their attention to detail is second to none. The only danger is ordering too much as the portions are generous and everything on the menu is so enticing. Their Chorizo is second to none and their Sangria is scrumptious - don't forget to order a pitcher of it because you'll be wanting more otherwise!
The restaurant is very child-friendly and the waiters always make a special effort with children to make them feel special. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went in here with a couple of friends. Had a great experience. The food was good. We had various tapas. They have a good selection of spirits and beers. Nice atmosphere. Stayed for about two and a half hours. Would have stayed longer, but it was getting late.
I've been coming to this Spanish restaurant on and off for over 16 years and it never ever disappoint. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food tastes beautiful, one of the best I've been too. My fav dish is the octopus 🙂

Absolutely delighted with the tapas, very lovely place with a great variety. I heard the sangria is amazing, but we haven't ordered that (yet). Grilled sardines definitely a delight!
Take a trip to Spain through the tapas here. The food was spot on and so much flavour. Still have to try the skewers.
Popped in here after the Croydon Food Festival on Sunday after 6.00pm so the atmosphere was not busy. Staff were welcoming, hospitable and jovial. Food and service was excellent. Will go back again in the future to hopefully enjoy a better vibe with more customers.

True Spanish restaurant with atmosphere and great tasting food. I've been going there for 20 years! The sangria is also fantastic. Nos vemos pronto!
