Yumn Brasserie

We came here for my mothers 60th birthday and the service and food was both amazing. We had Cristina as our waitress and she was fantastic I can’t praise her enough. They even brought out a little cheesecake with happy birthday written on it which was really lovely of them. I will definitely be coming back here again. The mock tails was amazing I had the one with raspberry and pomegranate it was amazing. My siblings had lychee one which was nice but I don’t like lychee much. The food portion was good. I ordered the monk fish which was great. My sister ordered the crispy prawn with kimchi rice and omg that was amazing. I would definitely get that next time I go. There was 7 of us and the bill came for £290 including three mock tails and water. Thanks again Yumn for making the experience memorable and thank you Cristina for your lovely service.

Fantastic place. It is essentially one of Croydon's top end restaurants and the food prices reflect that. However the food is delicious, the service is excellent, the decor is very nice and the cocktails are actually reasonably priced and well presented. Great for special occasions or a cheeky cocktail. They went through a phase of fancy indian dishes in the past but the new menu has excellent variety, although I wish they'd bring the old duck burger back 🙂. We had the aperol spritz, elderflower heaven, cheese souffle, crispy chicken, sea bass, sticky toffee and snickers cheesecake, all of which were excellent.

I first came to Yumn when they first opened and absolutely loved it so became a regular, after moving away I hand my been for a while and heard mixed reviews about them so decided to give them a try today. I have to say I thought the food was really good, the quality was on point and it came in good time. Main thing for me though was the service the staff were attentive and there to help with anything we needed, night was topped of with a free complimentary drink for no real reason. Definitely worth booking for a night out as a date or with the family.

We went there for our 5 yr wedding anniversary. My partner booked a table for 2 two days before hand. Upon arrival, Christina and another gentlemen with black rounded glasses (didn't get his name) were serving us. They were very polite and helpful. Would like to point out that we asked what made up the sauce of the seabass dish and the had kindly came back to us and let us know. We also asked them to take picture for us, and they were very happy to do it too. We ordered 1 starter to share, a octopus salad. A main each - a lamb dish and the seabass dish. We also got a dessert on the house! The food was great also gave me some cooking inspirations!! Love the seabass dish, however if the lamb dish can be slight bigger in portion then it would be perfect!! Overall recommend to eat in this restaurant, especially for special occasion.
