A hidden gem in Central Croydon, great service and good food. Their Christmas menu options was extensive. 😋 yummy desserts and lovely coffee. Their private dining room was a beautiful setting for our family Christmas celebratory dinner. Some of our party found their steak 🥩 not to their liking. But on the positive an alternative was offered and then the cost was deducted from our bill. Great customer service, will be back again especially now I know they have a smaller private room.
Wonderful staff who can't do enough for you, never had an empty glass all evening, even peeled my Mum's prawn for her...that's what I call service!! �...beautifully prepared food (I recommend the duck) in simple but elegant surroundings..... and very impressed with the prices.... 5* all round.... thank you for a lovely evening����
I came here for a friend's birthday meal and we had such a great time. The restaurant is a lovely setting for an evening meal with its elegant decor and comfortable seating. The food also has an authentic italian feel. The waiters were really friendly and patient at handling the group but the food took ages to arrive! The food is slightly pricey compared to a few other places on the street but a nice treat for an occasion.
My dearest university professor came to London to visit my family. I knew Croydon had a famous Italian restaurant and Ristorante Bar Ponte Nuovo. I booked a table for 4 without any hesitation. When I arrived there, I found many passionate staffs were singing birthday song to the customers here. The atmosphere and services here were fantastic. We loved the pasta, pizzas, garlic bread and dessert here. I loved the chilling alcoholic beverages very much. I'll recommend here for those who want to have a good Italian dinning experience.
I really enjoyed this restaurant! Very beautiful decor and excellent service! My main course (Linguine Marinara) was full of beautiful seafood, maybe a bit salty for me, but I really enjoyed the majority of the food and the drinks too. The cheesy garlic bread was especially to die for!
Visited on Friday for an anniversary date night.
The food and service was exceptional.
I had the mussels to start and chicken salad and could not fault the dishes. I was even left too full for desert.
Very reasonably priced. And the house red went down a treat.
The restaurant was relatively quite for a Friday evening. Which was a surprise.. it’s well worth a visit! I’ll definitely be going back.

The food, I've had various dishes, and they have all been good, even the steak and wine days are great.
Been here quite a few times since moving to the area and have enjoyed each experience, the front of house as well as the very friendly chefs are well worth your time to visit and it's not too expensive either.
Been here before in 2018 for a friend's birthday. The food was lovely. I had Salmon and the sauce used was truly amazing, fish was cooked from fresh.
Visited again April 2022 but this time for my own birthday which was very lovely. Compliments to the chef, food was lovely, we had some special request for some dishes which was well done. Excellent service. We had a private room that fit 10 people which was nice. I got my cake from costco which they brought out for me and sang me happy birthday. 😊 5 star deserved!
We had a late lunch here, so very few customers, some people were having a birthday party. The food is good and prices are very reasonable. Recommend.
Despite the fact that the restaurant is not in an exclusive area of London, I liked the way it looks and how it is organized.

We all had a lovely meal. Everything freshly cooked and they will adapt meals to suit your tastes. Great service and wide range of drinks including cocktails.
With a group of 10 for a work event we were seated in the side room just off from the main dining area which was ideal for us. Great service and really nice food
This is a well-established restaurant with very warm and friendly staff who are very attentive. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is always warm and friendly. you are always welcome as a guest.
