Food good value. Staff friendly and efficient. Just a pity the coffee was awful. Ordered a flat white which tasted like a poor Americano with warmed milk. Replaced without fuss but replacement onl a bit stronger. The staff said, "you know your coffee", which suggests they knew it wasn't a flat white.

We had a snack lunch whilst waiting for an appointment call.( 21st Aug 2023) This was in the garden entrance of the restaurant. I would like to compliment your trainee at Coombe Lodge . He had no name badge ...just trainee, but we asked for his name.... GEORGE..( please give him a name badge) He delivered our order in a cheerful & courteous manner. We jokingly commented that our table was spinning, with a faulty catch( for stowage we presumed). He promptly checked it out & spent 5 minutes examining the mechanism. He decided to remove it as it was not safe. We continued chatting, & were very impressed with his communication skills. My husband & I are ex BA cabin crew, & can easily spot fantastic customer service. George is a natural, & hope he is given the chance to do well at your Coombe Lodge branch. George was warm & friendly, & happy to chat. It transpired that he knew the village we lived in, & it was a pleasure hearing his story. Please pass our comments on to George. We also received excellent customer service from Sheila. I had informed her that we were waiting for our appointment call, stating that we would not need a full meal ,as we may have to quickly dash off. She assured me that ordering chips & a beverage was absolutely OK.She was also warm & friendly, & genuinely pleased to be of help. Please pass on our comments to Sheila aswell. Great food & friendly staff. Service was fast & the place is clean. Staff are very helpfull too. Great place to come for a big family meal. We came for Mother's Day & had a great time with a good selection of food & drinks. The table given to us was in a good area & the place is well lit up. Allround a good experience. Had another great dinner experience here today. The staff are always friendly & the food is delicious. 👍😁🍹💥

Celebrated a 92 birthday and it was good! We were a party of over 30 and had our own room. The staff were well organised and Freya looked after us beautifully. Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff. We look forward to returning.
