We had roast dinner, which was good but not great. Meat was tasty and was generous on both meat and veg, but it didn't deliver according to the description.
The veg supposed to be honey roasted but instead tasted like boiled. Hoping for improvement in the future.

A decent pub in a good location of South Croydon. On sunny days the garden area gets busy so it is advisable to book in advance, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a good selection of drinks available. Staff are friendly and hardworking. Haven't tried the food but did get food envy from the plates I saw on other tables. Toilets were clean to a satisfactory standard.

Lovely place with nice beer garden. Delicious food. Great drinks selection. Waitress with the piercings is excellent. Couldn't do enough for us.
Unfortunately she had to deal with an unpleasant table next to us with she which she did politely despite their rudeness. Well done 👏👏👏 😀

Went to have a roast dinner yesterday with a friend and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails. Thank you to judith who looked after us, your service was outstanding. A must try if you've never been.

Customer service lovely! You need extra bread to enjoy the pate fully. Spice up your prawns the way I did, and you'll never regret it. Desserts, sticky toffee pudding was lovely just like the waffles and ice cream. Waffles not too sweet. Gorgeous combo. Presentation of seabass excellent. Steak and fat fries lovely! No regrets on any of the meals.

Really enjoyed our lunch here at the weekend. When I called to book our table a lovely lady called Judy took our booking and advised that they were dog friendly which was great (they even serve doggy roast dinners on Sundays!)
Food was tasty, good value and service was quick and super friendly. We parked at Spices Yard which was cheaper than on street parking and only a 2 min walk to the pub. We would not hesitate to return.
