We have been eating here for 10 years, great price, great service and the food is always good. Home made pies, & dish of the day. We used to call it the cheap cafe as prices are best in the area but this is actually the best cafe.
Great find good food good value great friendly staff best breakfast I have had in ages . Walked in soaking wet and put wet gloves on radiator to dry out bike crash helmets on table behind and not one complaint from staff unlike some places very biker friendly Only one issue was had to park motor bike up road out of view
Bright friendly stop for English Breakfast!
First time trying English Breakfast in London, was a pleasure trying it here. Felt like a neighborhood spot, workers popping in, friendly chatter, and staff seemed to know a lot of people coming in through the door. A nice place to feel the atmosphere of the neighborhood while enjoying a hearty filling breakfast with tea. The beans were awesome!

Was recommended this cafe by my local FB page, and I can say, this cafe did not disappoint. Breakfast was spot on. Eggs were perfect, proper mushrooms and bacon. Everything on the plate was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Very clean, great ambiance and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
Ham, egg and chips followed by apple crumble and custard. Mugs of strong tea. Great cafe. Friendly staff. Good prices. Extensive menu. Would readily come again.

Delicious and economical. They must use very good base ingredients and cook them perfectly because I've rarely had a greasy spoon fry-up that tasted so good. Highly recommend

I go to this cafe most mornings for my morning coffee and occasionally for a lunchtime treat. The food is lovely, the pricing is very reasonable and the staff are really friendly. I honestly think this is one of the nicest cafes in the local area. Highly recommend!
Delicious all-day breakfasts at a very reasonable price (with tea/coffee included), with friendly service. Also a refreshingly cheap option to pop in for a filter coffee.

I love going to Today's cafe as I am always greeted with a smile at the door followed by a friendly conversation and most importantly always served up lovely food. During the week I love the set menu breakfast even though I struggle to finish it due to the generous portions (not complaining) . On a Sunday I will pop in for a roast dinner which taste delicious and normally comes with an apple crumble or sticky toffee pudding. This place literally is my favourite in South Croydon for taste, speed and quality.
On occasion I have got a takeaway and it tastes as good as it does in the cafe!! Can't go wrong with this place
