Vujon

Came up for a Christening from Manchester and we fancied a curry. Selected Vujon as the menu looked good. Arrived to be welcomed by a lovely lady who showed us to our seats. My wifes got a nut allergy and they informed us which dishes would be suitable and even made recommendations of what she would like, based on what sort of food she liked. The food was absolutely lovely and really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and one chap even recommended a curry place nearer to our home we might want to try. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future

Spur of the moment decision to go with my fiancé, based on previous excellent reviews. After working out how to get in (it’s not the “obvious double doors” on the street but slightly hidden around the side) we were greeted by a warm atmosphere, welcoming people and tasteful decor. We were quickly served drinks and poppadoms with the usual chutneys etc. The menu has a wide selection including chef specials. I went for the chicken tikka mint with the Vujon special rice which was delicious and full of flavour. My fiancé had the Hasina lamb which came out sizzling hot with a colourful arrangement of grilled vegetables and it tasted wonderful. We shared a side of a tasty saag paneer and a garlic naan which was soft and noti at all over cooked. The owner was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning. A real little gem!

The best food this side of Bangladesh!!!! This place is the greatest most spectacular diamond in darlington if not the UK. The food, the staff and its cool charismatic owner Mohammad is the greatest most succulent, most mouth watering spicy food I have tasted in entire travels around the globe. It really shines a light on the owner and the head chef how intouch with customers taste buds they are and mohammed really is the King of curry. The most upto date eye pleasing atmospheric place Darlington. This place lights up Darlington, not only in taste but in decor and lighting it really is a place to please the eyes, mouth and all senses. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and always attentive to every need and request also this really is the most amazing pleasing place I have attended not only in the North east uk but all of the world. Genuinely a pleasure throughout the whole experience of this amazing hidden 💎 gem . Thank you to Mohammad, Head chef and all the staff for an amazing evening that I will surely tell everyone and everyone how unbelievably amazing this place is

Attended on 19th August. Six avid curry club members first visit here and wow, it will not be our last. We range in desired heat levels from medium up to silly hot and the food was perfectly cooked to order, even adding a bit more heat to a couple of pathias we requested just up from madras heat but keep it under vindaloo. Portion sizes were good, the meat was well cooked, the service attentive and not one of us had a complaint. Wonderful we will return soon.
