It's a lovely pub with good selection of drinks, pool tables & lovely large back garden. I & mate had a wonderful evening. If I only known they served food we would have some food. I do recommend this pud for those whom what a wonderful, relaxing experience & also family friendly.

Nice pub, pool tables are not great but still playable , dart boards available and a good pint poured well by friendly bar staff, no agg and a nice garden to enjoy your cold pint

Delicious food, lovely staff and gorgeous location. This is a surprising gem, and within very close walking distance to the station and the orchard theatre. Would recommend this charming pub and will definitely be coming back again.

The food and service were excellent. Staff very accommodating, even offering low fat dressing to accommodate for slimming world. Garden is enclosed and very peaceful. Good quality at very reasonable price.

Definitely worthy of a visit.
My daughter had her 50th birthday party here. We had delicious snacks which were replenished all afternoon.
We were placed in the covered and heated garden room, and spilt out ino the garden.
The children loved playing in the garden too.
The staff were really helpful when I asked for a place to park my mobility scooter, and helped me go through the pub, which
has a couple of high steps, so it would be fine for people with limited mobility, but not suitable for a wheelchair.

Food and staff were lovely. The one downside was that I thought the car park was part of the pub and I got a parking fine. Might be an idea to have a notice in the pub about paying for parking

I have lived in the area for over 20 years and never been in the "Rose".
I had a family dinner today 😋 and it was very nice. Nice pub friendly and has a very nice pub garden. This place was recommended to us .
10/10 thank you be back soon for a drink night out.

First time at the Rose today for my mums birthday. There were 10 of us so quite a big table to serve.
When we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly which gave the pub a lovely atmosphere.
I had heard that the food was good but it was absolutely delicious! The starter of Tempura cod was very tasty and the Roast dinner exceeded all our expectations 😋. Would thoroughly recommend it and thank you to all the staff for looking after us and making it a very special occasion.😊
