Black Bass Grille

Solid spot for a late night dinner! Best chicken wings we have had in a long time - the Nashville Hot did not disappoint! My burger was cooked perfectly and hubby's Chicken Diablo pasta was tasty. Bartender was our server - very personable and attentive to all of his customers, we never had to wait for him. He consistently checked on us without hovering all while engaging his bar crowd and running food from the kitchen. Game was on the tvs with some lively bar customers, so not a romantic date night spot per say, but a Date Night it was :) We will definitely be returning to this local gem!

Had the most amazing time this past weekend. The staff, specifically Dawn, Connor & Matt were beyond exceptional. Even during these COVID times they really went above and beyond to not only make their patrons feel safe, but moreover deliver a superior customer experience. We enjoyed our time Friday night so much so that we had to return again the next day. Their passion for what they do and who they are truly permeates throughout. Cheers to the Black Bass Grille and their superior customer excellence! Oh and the drinks and food do not disappoint either!

The owner was so nice. I went to see my friend's solo show there on a slow night. Loved the bartender. She lives in my town. I talked to the bartender and the owner for a little while and even had a shot with them on the house. It was Irish whiskey so I really enjoyed it. I didn't eat there this time but I will in the future. They had a good selection of beers. The music was great! Butch McCarthy is there on Wednesday nights. I used to go there when it was a different owner but things seem to be going well there with this new owner. I wish I could remember his name because he really made me feel welcome. The small dining room is decorated so tastefully and you feel like you're a guest in a friend's home. Quaint, cozy and I'm sure the food is great because of the other details I noticed. I worked in the restaurant business for a long time and I'm really good at picking out great places to dine and this is one of them. Plus it's right on the water. You can't beat this place!

Great food options and the menu changes often. Everything I had for dinner was tasty, fresh and well planned. My 2 companions were very satisfied with their meals also. The only thing I would change was that I wished there was a drink menu available. If there was, I think I would have given a 5 star rating. There is an outdoor area to eat, which I like and the wait staff were all fun and helpful. Also, it is located in scenic Padanaram Village, so if you choose to go, I suggest checking the area out.

Happened into this place by chance. Looking at the outside, didn't expect much walking up with my wife. Could not have been more wrong! The inside is quaint and welcoming. We sat by the wood stove to take off the chill. From appetizers to dessert, the food was beyond reproach! Service was outstanding. Very clean and friendly. You can't go wrong!

Everything about our visit today was excellent from the waitress to the drinks and especially the food. The atmosphere is cozy and I should have eaten slower to enjoy it longer. We had the salmon, corned beef and cabbage and an appetizer of shrimp. Now if that don't grab you nothing will! It was a tad pricey for New Bedford but not Padanaram and the flavors we experienced were quite indulging with few comparisons. Nice Job...we shall return!
