A very pleasant and relaxing Cafe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service excellent. We only had tea and cake. I tried the gluten free carrot cake which was delicious. The tea served in a great old fashioned teapot that holds a decent amount and does not drip. 1940s theme throughout.
The building very old built in 1600 and was a school house. Looking forward to returning to try other items on the menu

We first spotted the Windsor Lodge tea room when driving past and thought we'd give it a go. Its a fantastic location with lots of parking opposite.
We we're so impressed with the personal, friendly service immediately and felt welcomed and comfortable. The menu is simple but delicious and well put together, and the homemade cakes are incredible! I love how vintage and authentic it feels, the China tea sets, gentle music and all the little details are so lovely. I was also extremely impressed to see some famine products in the bathroom, lots of care and thought has gone into every aspect of this place, its really a little treasure of Daventry. We can't wait for many more visits. Thank you! ❤️
Used Windsor Lodge for Mums funeral wake .The food was outstanding & there was plenty to keep everyone satisfied. Tea & Coffee were on tap all afternoon. The Tea rooms are very vintage in their appearance & beautifully quaint .Mel & her team did an amazing job today & made a sad day easier to cope with.
Great little tea room in the middle of the town. Well done theme and menu perfect for lunch. Staff are fantastic with great recommendations. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic local place, great value and lovely atmosphere. Would go here over any of the chain establishments on the high street. It’s a family run business and they provide great service. We recently had Christmas afternoon tea, it was absolutely amazing.

Went with a friend for her birthday to have a lunchtime "Gold vintage afternoon tea". Everything was veeeery tasty and tasted like it was homemade. The people running it are so lovely. This place is a hidden gem.
Absolutely lovely quaint tea room. The owners are so lovely and we chatted happily away with them whilst enjoying the most delicious cake and cups of tea ..would highly recommend. I need to go back for afternoon tea!
