Fish & chips Friday on last night of our November short break. Well impressed, food was terrific, best I've had for a long time.
Well done to all the staff. Residents of Dawlish are lucky having this little gem, but I think they already know that, judging from how busy it was.
Cod was lovely. The thick pieces of fish were amazing. Friendly staff. Batter on the sausage wasn't crispy otherwise 5 stars. Cash machine just outside which was handy as they only accept cash! Prices were. Good too. Thank you.
Food was great, we have a campervan and visit a lots of chippys. So consider myself some what of an expert!! Regularly visit Dawlish this one is a good one!! Lovely chips, nice fish, cracking curry sauce and lovely friendly staff!! Would definitely recommend and use regularly.
Recently visited Dawlish and decided to have a chippy tea. My husband had fish and chips and I had the roe. The food was excellent the best we have tasted in years. The fish especially good with a light batter.
Would highly recommend if you are in the area.
