Had a lovely lunch in the Lamp Room. Always a nice spot to visit to walk the dog and meet family and friends.

Lots of parking for a reasonable £5 a day gives you access to an outdoor child's play area, walking track, cycling road track and mountain bike trails. The blue mountain bike trails are suitable for all and lead from one trail to the next. They are cross country, not downhill, with no real jumps to speak of, however they are good fun. There are showers and toilets on site, a restaurant and a museum about coal mining.

Absolutely love this place, never tire of visiting hear, all that I need in 1 place. Parking prices are fair as long as you are staying for longer than 1hr.
