The Classic Family Restaurant

Definitely a southern place. Buffet (I'm not originally from the South so I stuck with a hamburger haha, which was really good!). It's clean and open and really well done. Our waitress was the bomb. It wasn't anything over the top. She just had a way about her. All the people there shower friendly. So, overall, for me, the service far surpassed the food. Although, if you like southern food, it's definitely earned it's name for that reason ;).

I have heard many good things about The Classic and was excited to experience it for myself. The restaurant is really nice. The hostess and wait staff are friendly. The food, however is not great. I ordered from the menu a "grilled" chicken salad. The waitress informed me I'd have to fix my own salad and when I was done she would bring the "grilled" chicken out to me??? I prepared my salad of bitter iceberg lettuce, bitter cucumber, pureed carrots (which I have NEVER seen in a salad), and hot red onions. The rest of the salad bar consisted of calorie filled choices. My "grilled" chicken seemed somewhat steamed and was nowhere near grilled and for $9 I expected more. The buffet was a big let down too, nothing but grease, really dry chicken, and an endless supply unhealthy food. I decided to end my meal with a cup of coffee, I shouldn't have, I think they serve that cheap gas station coffee because like the salad it was awful!

My wife's sister from Pa came to visit. We wanted to try something different and decided to try Classic restaurant. We were very pleased by the friendly greeting we received when we arrived. The food was very good and well worth the money,the place was very clean and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be going back!

The food was good & the People working there are Very Nice.Some people wore mask & used the Gloves to hold the Spoons, Tongs to get the food.But some people don't want 2 wear gloves. I think that since People have 2 wear Mask, with it being a Mandate, I think that it Should be a Mandate to wear Gloves.I know that the Spoons & Tongs are Changed every so often but I think it's a good Idea to request Guest to Wear the Gloves that are furnished.We Enjoy Coming there
