Excellent fish and chips. I used click and collect and was a little disappointed that I had to wait so long for the next available slot (hence only 4 stars). Maybe next time I'll just turn up so that I don't have to wait as long.

Took a friend there for lunch. She was very pleased with the meal.
The batter on the fish was nice and crispy and the fish was nice and soft . The chips were also crisp with soft centres.
The staff were helpful with my friends allergies which she found reassuring.

Wasn’t too bad actually, wasn’t expecting much from people I know who have been here and the reviews but it was ok. Bit on the expensive side but not many chippies open on Sundays round here so not much choice. Fish was decent and the chips were ok, would defo go again

A lovely chippy offering a range chip shop fare. Reasonable prices and the 'click and collect' function via the app is very useful. Portion sizes are generous; we had a very nice family tea from there.

A traditional chippy, providing fresh quality food. Eat in or take out. Also offers a customer loyalty card, gaining 10p for every £1 spent. Recommend you try the lunch menu, some good meal deals. Amy is a trooper and a very hard worker. Who provides excellent customer service.

My work colleagues and I all love this George's Tradition shop. The food is excellent, the chips are always great and the fish is superb too, so are the other items like chicken, sausages, etc. We often like fish goujons for a lunchtime snack. The staff are excellent too, friendly, efficient, helpful, they really are great and deserve a lot of praise for the shop's good atmosphere. In short this chip shop is hard to beat, it's genuinely difficult to imagine how it could be better. Our only criticism is, it's so popular it's often crowded!

A wonderful takeaway/restaurant that serves quality food and drink to its customers for a good price! The service was fast today, and the welcome warm, my food was ready within a minute and i was on my jolly way! I highly recommend taking a pit stop in this traditional fish and chip shop!
