Nice pleasant staff..as normal food & Drink deal very competitive.
I gave 4* as to be honest the steak had quite a bit of fat....

Smaller cousin to next door's bigger one.
Don't know why they didn't just join it all together.
The food seems to be a bit better here than next door for some reason.
Maybe better microwave technician's.
They have a back terrace which joins to big cuz next door.

Friendly and efficient service and cheap and tasty meals. Good selection of beers, including alcohol free. However, not a good selection of ciders, and today my meal was served even though an ingredient was missing from it, and no offer of a substitute was made.

Paid a visit to The Thomas leaper for lunch and throughly enjoyed the experience. This is a busy Wetherspoons perhaps owing to the fact it’s sister pub The Standing Order is undergoing a complete renovation. Nevertheless I was served my meal by friendly staff. Well worth a visit. I’ve never been upstairs yet. Maybe next time Great value for money and highly recommended.

Service was fast, and food and drinks to a decent standard. However the Halloumi fries we ordered for £4.15 only had about 4 fries in. Apart from that everything else is great! Pub not too busy at all!

Always go to The Thomas Leaper before a busy day ahead.
Great prices with it being a Weatherspoons. A lot quieter and nicer than next door (The Standing Order).
There is seating downstairs and upstairs so plenty of room.
Breakfast is always hot, toast could have done with more cooking as it was only toasted on one size but it was still nice.
A lot of vegetarian options on Breakfast menu and main menu.
They messed up our order a little bit at the start as I didn't want beans and instead wanted extra toast and instead they took/added that to my partner's instead. However within 5 minutes they had brought me a new breakfast out which is great to have a fast turn around.
Clean tables, clean floor and toilets were clean too.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great price for drinks. My Wife and I both had a steak meal, steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, the only downside was that the chips weren't very hot, otherwise I would have given five stars.

When the standing order is too busy, this is always a great place to go too and still a wetherspoons so great affordable prices. Staff are really friendly and a good atmosphere. Music on both floors but a bit quieter upstairs for those that want it.
