Had a lovely lunch service was amazing food was even better had a lovely calm atmosphere pay for what you get reasonable prices shall be returning its easy to find if passing but if your searching it could be difficult but as it's around the corner from my parents house I will be nipping back in the pub was clean and tidy tables were clean food was amazing cheese ploughman's pictured my husband and my dad had the steak pie chips peas absolutely lovely and rather filling

Absolutely brilliant pub. First time we went today, for a family members birthday meal. Staff were so welcoming and friendly, the pub was clean and bright and really well laid out.
Food was fantastic!! Great portions and all delicious 😋.
100% recommend, we will definitely be visiting again.

Very good Steak and Ale pie, lovely and rich with big pieces of meat. Great staff, both who served were very smiley and friendly. Nice atmosphere. All round very good experience.

We came here 17 years ago and had our first meal. Now for our wedding anniversary we returned. It's still the same beautiful place with great atmosphere and good food. ❤️

Really lovely traditional pub. We went for Sunday lunch and it was really delicious. Big portions but possible to have a small size which was ample for the two ladies in the group. Friendly efficient staff and service. Will definitely be going again soon 😁

An extremely happy meeting with old friends on a lovely sunny day, and very good on all counts. Food particularly good in taste, quality and proportions.
What more to say ?
A return visit is a "must".
Enhanced by the visit, unexpected, of a number of vintage cars AND a horse driven Gypsy caravan.
Car parking space, although vast, was hardly adequate ( under the circumstances !)

Had our second vist, confirmed that the first was not a fluke! Food, presentation, cleanliness and service all well above the norm. Our new favourite pub and one I believe will be hard to beat!

Brilliant evening with great food. The roast duck special was delicious with big portions and plenty of sides too. Pub has loads of character and in a beautiful setting.

Stopped here for lunch one Saturday. It was fairly quiet so we were able to sit outside in the sun.
The food was excellent. Reasonably priced, tasty and served hot.
There aren't many tables outside but quite a few inside. There is a car park here. Would certainly recommend a visit.

My partner drove past this place while working one day so we thought we would give it a go. So glad we did! Absolutely lovely....the atmosphere, decor, vibe. Servers were well mannered and polite, always willing to help, food was outstanding and amazing value for money! Myself and my partner each had a 3 course meal with 3 drinks each and the bill came under £80!. Astonished! Will definitely be returning.
