We stayed at The Kings Head this weekend and had a brilliant time! We had the opportunity to sample the good food, excellent drinks service and enjoyed a very comfortable night's sleep in one of the quiet and well furnished accommodation rooms. All aspects experienced were very reasonably priced. Martin and Louise put their all into making our stay enjoyable in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. We are returning again in May and thoroughly looking forward to it..
We stayed here for the first time this week. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Our family room was fresh, clean and well stocked. It’s within a stones throw of Snetterton circuit. Lovely pub. We will be back for sure.
My husband & I had a fab stay at the Kings head. The hosts were fantastic as well as the customers in trying to source us a taxi!

Extremely friendly landlady. She let me use the toilet when the pub was shut. No other pub will do this which indicates that the people operating this pub are aware of the existence of people who have visible/hidden disabilities and need to potentially use the toilet. Also as I was walking inside, I saw that the place was very clean and hygienic compared to other pubs.
I give 10/10 . Maybe next time I’ll visit properly and have a drink when it’s open :-)
This place is amazing!. Louise and Martin have only been here a few months, but the pub is certainly the hub of the community. It has 3 really great rooms, separate from the pub, which are spotlessly clean, airy, and a very good size.
We stayed for 2 nights, and can honesty say that the atmosphere within the pub was brilliant. Busy, and happy.
The pub is very near lots of places to visit, we went into Norwich and Diss… which is literally 10 minutes down the road.
If you’re looking for a place to stay, with a big heart, and a happy vibe…. This is your place!!

The amazing Martin and Louise have have brought their ambition, skill and care to put their name this an amazing village pub restaurant with beautiful rooms to stay in as well.
Keep an eye out for events, new brews, new menu and the best atmosphere you’ll ever find from a local. Those from further afield become instant friends when they walk in the door!
There are also some homely & personal touches that you just done get with other 5 star accommodations. Book quick!

Great pub to meet up with family members. Had a great band in one bar but could still chat in the lounge bar. Clean room with comfy beds. Very friendly staff and managers.
Fabulous enterprise; Relatively new owners of this establishment who have not only enchanted passing guests, but have created a pub to which the village locals have taken to their heart.
The new owners have all the right people skills to make this establishment a roaring success.
A procession of mobile take-out vehicles take their turn to park up and prepare meals for locals and travelling guests, and in turn the pub owners reserve and lay a table (crockery, cutlery, napkins, & condiments) within the their premises. It's a form of carry out-eat-in. Well thought through.
Accommodation to the rear of the pub, is sufficiently tranquil for overnight guests seeking quiet time. Beautifully clean, sumptious bed, and in-room breakfast is laid on.
Highly recommnded establishment. A really good proposition, supplied at a very reasonable price point.
This place will thrive, for sure.

We had a 1 night stay. Lovely place, Clean, comfortable & cosy. Martin & Louise are great hosts and the locals were friendly too. Really great atmosphere. Definitely will return.
Highly Recommended. Martin and Louise are the very welcoming new hosts at the King’s Head, which is a charming, traditional, unspoiled country pub. We spent two nights there and everything was to our liking. Unlike most pubs these days, Louise still offers great sandwiches and her Ploughmans for two was truly exceptional.
