Called up 30 minutes beforehand to book a table. Food was really lovely, service was quick and the waiter was also really friendly. Would happily come here again.

Booked for a party of thirteen before reading some of the recent reviews so was a bit nervous after reading some. We all arrived on time and there was a very warm friendly welcome. Everyone was seated in a timely and organised way .The service was excellent everyone had different options of food and drink and there was not one error made. When the food came it was nice and hot and all came together whether it was starters or mains. There was not one person who said they-did not enjoy the food. The bill was reasonable the service was excellent and the place is very clean as well. So it’s worth a visit.

Been eating from Dil Raj for many years now. Usually a family member or friend would pick up and bring it home but since i've been caring for my dad in their vicinity i've been going in and had the pleasure of meeting the staff. These guys are 2nd to none, friendly and the food never fails. It's a part of the week me and my paps always look forward to. Thankyou from the heart guys. We'll be back again and again ❤️

Went last night it was busy when we got there we got sat down we ordered drinks 2x balti and one tandoori prawn butterfly a tandoori platter it was well presented full of flavour rice per curry ratio perfect service was spot on waiters very attentive to needs it was cosy inside with plenty of good quality restaurant atmosphere congratulations you scored 5 star 1 star for food presentation 1 star for customer service 1 star for ambience setting 1 star for food quality and 1 star for hygiene

Very nice evening as part of the eat out to help out scheme. Busy as you'd expect with everyone taking advantage of the offer. We sat at table 1, I believe, which was in a corner and was nice and relatively private (front left corner). The food was tasty, the bottle of wine was scrumptious. The cleaning up after tables were vacated, efficiently done and smellled nice. Despite the demand the boss man and his team coped well and were all over it. Impressive.
We had to wait a bit to order our food, but this was advantagous as we couldn't decide what to have.Plus we were chatting nicely. I felt the staff were pleasently attentive without being over intrusive.
We had a few drinks near the bar before we left. Sapphire gin and brandy.
The boss man took the time to explain the bill to my fussy account other half. Very patient

Dil rag was recommended to me by colleagues who travel from the other side of town so we knew it was one to check out. Really lovely meal, and great to go somewhere that doesn't skimp on the garlic when ordered, 10/10 for that one aspect before taking anything else into consideration. :) The meals were very tasty but were not as spicy as we expected however the addition of a delicious hot plus cooling sauces at the table ensured the meal was spot on to personal taste. A busy little restaurant for a Tuesday night, says a lot, and I look forward to our next visit :) (oh and it was great to go somewhere where the cotton napkins are big enough to make a mouse. Haven't been able to do that in a long old time!)
